Science-based information on canine evolution, behavior, health and welfare
We strongly believe in science-based methods of relating to our dogs. There are too many opinions, blogs, and "experts" out there, so we like to go directly to the source: the peer-reviewed scientific literature. This information is usually stuck behind a paywall and not accessible to most people so we will be providing various manuscripts here that we find to be important or interesting. If there is a topic you would like us to look into, email us at: thevelvetburritos at gmail.com. This page will be updated whenever we find something interesting, so make sure you check for new updates!
